It's a New World 2020

The world, as we knew it, has made a 180 degree turn, at a minimum.  Covad19 is the new catch phrase.  Everyone who dies either died from it or had it when they died.  I'm not planning on being part of that statistic in the near future so I'm staying away from people.  Unfortunately, our next door neighbor has tested positive.  We see him on his back porch almost every day and presume he's doing ok.
The pandemic made a drastic change in our lives.  We were in the middle of enjoying University of Arizona basketball, boys and girls, when it hit and cancelled all the playoff games of which the girls were going to be held at U of A.  Since we both enjoy college basketball the cancelling of the tournaments was a big let down.  We also decided to stay in AZ longer to let things quiet down some so we didn't leave until May 4th.  It was a great decision as the airport was empty and so was the plane.  No problem social distancing.
Because we were later getting back it affected the garden.  No radishes or onions or lettuce this year.  The tomato and pepper plants were hard to find and we ended up settling for no name varieties.  We're still waiting for the fruit to appear and ripen.
We've enjoyed our almost new three season room again this year.  It's our favorite place to gravitate to in the morning, after breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Seeing family has been a problem.  No grandchildren and only son six feet away with a mask and daughter occasionally.  Ron's family in Wisconsin are getting together for a birthday but I'm refusing to go....40 + people who work everyday in the public is not my idea of a safe place for me to be.  He's already been up there once by himself and I don't have a problem if he wants to go this time, just without me.
